If for some reason you become unable to use the 2-factor authentication app, you can utilize the “backup code.”
To find the back up code, log into Zaif, go to "Accounts", then to "Security", and then to the "2FA Settings" page. You will be able to manage your backup code and issue a new backup code.
For example, if your device which contains the 2-factor authentication app is destroyed, you can login to Zaif using the backup code.
If you can't use the 2-factor authentication app, please contact us from "Contact Support page" after logging in using the backup code. We can clear your 2FA settings after verifying your identity.
After stopping 2FA, Zaif Support will contact you to help you re-setup 2FA.
