This page explains the basic operations for withdrawing crypto assets to external wallets/services and the precautions for withdrawals for each crypto asset.
Please note that once the withdrawal of crypto assets from Zaif has been completed, the withdrawal cannot be reversed even if the funds have not arrived at the destination.
Please make sure that there are no errors in the withdrawal address, withdrawal amount, etc. before proceeding.
CONTENTS
■Using a PC
1.Login to Zaif.
2.Click the “Account” in the upper right corner of the screen.
3.Go to your account page and click on “D＆W”.
4.Select the crypto assets to be withdrawn to an external service.（Click "<" or ">" to display more crypto assets.）
5.After selecting the crypto asset, click "Withdraw".
6.Select the appropriate "destination" and "Remittance destination", and enter the "Remittance Name" in both Kana and alphabet.
If there are no candidates for the payee name or purpose of the transfer transaction, select "Other" and enter the information manually.
※Effective April 1, 2022, we have started to obtain and store information about the recipient when customers send crypto assets externally in accordance with the introduction of the travel rule.

7.Enter the recipient's “postal code”, “country”, “region”.
■If the counterpart country is Japan
After entering the postal code, click the "Post Code Search" to automatically enter the "Remittance region".
■If the counterpart country is other than Japan
After entering the postal code, please select the appropriate country in "Remittance destination country" and enter the "Remittance region" manually.
8.Select the purpose of the transfer transaction.
※If your purpose is not in the options, please select "Other" and enter the information manually.
9.Enter the Destination address
If you have registered a withdrawal address for crypto assets, you can select and choose from the addresses you have previously registered.
To prevent input errors, we recommend the use of a management of withdrawal addresses.
If not restricted, please use copy/paste text to ensure that there are no errors.

Enter message if specified in the remittance address.
10.Enter the amount to be withdrawn in the "Amount" field.
Please enter the withdrawal amount to be less than the amount of crypto assets held minus fees.
Withdrawal fees may be fixed or freely, depending on the crypto asset.
In the case of a fixed fee, the fee may vary depending on network congestion, so please check the figures on the Withdrawal page for the most up-to-date fee information.
Please note that there is no transfer fee in transferring crypto assets to other accounts within Zaif.

11.Please check the box if you have read and agree to the withdrawal instructions.
12. Please make sure that the ”withdrawal address, withdrawal amount, withdrawal fee" are correct, enter your 2FA token, and click the "Withdraw" .
13. When the withdrawal process is completed from Zaif, the "Date ,Quantity,Fee,TX" will be displayed in the withdrawal history.

■Using a Smartphone
1.Login to Zaif.
2.Tap the three-line "三" button in the upper right corner of the screen to open "Account".
3.Once you are on the account page, tap the "￥" symbol.
4.Please select the crypto assets you wish to receive in your Zaif account (< > to display more crypto assets).
5.After selecting crypto assets, click "Withdraw".
6.Select the appropriate "destination" and "Remittance destination", and enter the "Remittance Name" in both Japanese(Kana) and English(alphabet).
If there are no candidates for the payee name or purpose of the transfer transaction, select "Other" and enter the information manually.

■Withdrawal Restrictions
Due to the Law for Prevention of Transfer of Criminal Proceeds, we may withhold your withdrawal.
In such cases, Customer Support will contact you at your registered email address.
■Withdrawal Quantity
Some crypto asset exchanges may have a "minimum deposit quantity".
When remitting funds externally, please confirm the minimum deposit amount before remitting funds.
Please note that we cannot handle problems at the remittance address.
■Regarding the "Preparing to Withdraw"
It indicates that preparations are being made to withdraw funds.
There is no need to contact us. Please wait until the withdrawal is completed.
※Please note that in some cases, we may ask for your cooperation in verifying your identity.
■Transfers Between Zaif Accounts
There are no transfer fees between Zaif accounts.
BTC
・If the bitcoin network is busy, there will be some delay in the transfer of funds.
The priority of the remittance will change depending on the amount of the withdrawal fee, so if you are in a hurry to make a withdrawal, please Try setting it above the default value.
※It is possible to withdraw funds by setting the withdrawal fee below the default value, but this may take several days to several weeks or more for approval on the network.

ETH
■About Contract Addresses
A contract address cannot be specified as the payout address.
Withdrawals to contract addresses will be automatically deleted and refunded, including fees, after an error is made.
XEM・XYM
■About Transactions
Withdrawals of XEM ・ XYM from Zaif will be multisig transactions.
Please note that Zaif cannot handle transfers to exchanges or services that do not support multisig transactions.
■About the remittance recipient's message
XEM・XYM has a function to add information called "messages," and some crypto exchanges may use messages to allocate the deposited crypto assets to your account.
Once the money has been transferred from Zaif, it will not be possible to add a message afterwards, so please enter a message if specified by the recipient.
DOT
■Withdrawal Quantity
Due to protocol specifications, DOTs are not managed in quantities of less than 1 DOT, so withdrawals that do not exceed 1 DOT in the recipient's possession may not be received.
Please check the balance at the destination address before remitting funds.
BCH
■Withdrawal Addresses
As of November 2022, BitcoinCash withdrawal addresses beginning with 3, bc1, 1, and q exist.
To make withdrawal to address beginning with "q", please enter "bitcoincash:" at the beginning.
CMS:XEM(Mosaic)
■About the remittance recipient's message
Mosaic has a function to add a "message".
When the money transfer from Zaif is completed, it is not possible to give message later, so please enter message if it is specified in the destination.
