Zaif allows you to deposit crypto assets from other/non-Zaif exchanges and wallets to your Zaif wallet/account.
On this page, we will explain the basic operation method to deposit crypto assets and the precautions for depositing with each crypto asset.

■Using a PC
1.Login to Zaif.
2.Click the “Account” in the upper right corner of the screen.
3.Go to your account page and click on “D&W”.
4.Select crypto assets to deposit in Zaif account.(Click "<" or ">" to display more crypto assets.)
5.Get a deposit address for crypto assets.
※The deposit screen is different for each crypto asset.※
If you want to deposit BTC/BCH/MONA/ETH/DOT/ERC20 |
If you click "Generate an address", the deposit address of your Zaif account will be displayed.
To deposit XEM/XYM/CMS:XEM |
If you want to deposit the above crypto assets into your account,please enter the following information.
・Address for deposit
・Message
If you do not enter a message when making a deposit, the deposit may not be credited to your account.
①Copy the unique message and enter it at the exchange (or wallet) where you want to send your crypto assets from.
②After entering a unique message on the external remittance page, click “You should copy and paste the above message and click here to get an address".
③When you click the button, the deposit address of the crypto assets common to all customers will be displayed.
When making a deposit from outside, please be sure to include the message ① in the address.
6.When the deposit of crypto assets is completed, it will be reflected in the holding assets and recorded in the "deposit history" displayed at the bottom of the screen.
■Using a Smartphone
1.Login to Zaif.
2.Tap the three-line "三" button in the upper right corner of the screen to open "Account".
3.Once you are on the account page, tap the "¥" symbol.
4.Please select the crypto assets you wish to receive in your Zaif account (< > to display more crypto assets).
5.Scroll down the screen and tap "Generate an address".
※Please note that each crypto asset has a different deposit screen.※

Click on "Generate an address" and you will see the address for depositing funds into your Zaif account.
Receiving XEM / XYM / CMS:XEM |
The following two are required for the deposit to be reflected.
Without the message, the deposit will not be reflected.
・Address
・Message
①Scroll down the screen to see your unique message.
Please copy the message displayed and enter it at the source of your remittance.
②After entering the unique message on the external remittance page, tap "You should copy and paste the above message and click here to get an address".
③A deposit address common to all customers will be displayed.
When making a deposit from outside, please be sure to include the message ① in the address.
6.When a deposit is completed, it will be recorded in the "Deposit History" at the bottom of the screen and reflected in the assets held.
■Precautions for depositing each crypto asset.
BTC・BCH
1.Do not send BCH to BTC deposit address or BTC to BCH deposit address.
Since BCH is a crypto asset created by the hard fork of BTC, it can be designated as the destination for remittance due to its common address notation.
However, even if the asset is transferred, it will not be reflected in your account because it is a different crypto asset. Please note that it may not be possible to retrieve the crypto asset due to the specifications.
2.Do not send crypto asset to the old address.
※Deposit addresses have been changed for BTC, BCH, MONA.
(BTC:2018.12.17. BCH:2019.3.13. MONA:2019.5.20)
Since the old deposit address is no longer in use, the transfer of crypto assets will not be reflected in your account.
When depositing crypto assets into Zaif, please make sure that your deposit address is up-to-date.
In the unlikely event that you have sent crypto asset to the old address, please contact our email support.
Please note that we may not be able to meet your request for immediate reflection because it takes time to confirm remittance to an address that is not in use.
ETH
The following types of deposits cannot be accepted.
・Deposit by”contract internal transaction”
・Deposit by networks and private chains other than ERC20.
・Deposit of ERC20 tokens such as COT
※The deposit address for ERC20 tokens and ETH is different.
XEM・XYM
1.Please include your unique message in plain text at the time of deposit.
For XEM and XYM deposits, multiple customers are supposed to send crypto asset to the same address, and we identify the customer's account by the unique message at the time of transfer.
Please be sure to give us your unique message when you make a deposit.
Messages should be sent in plain text and unencrypted.
※Do not check Hex and Encrypt.
※Do not enter spaces or line breaks.
2.Do not transfer XEM or XYM that has been granted Mosaic.
XEM and XYM have a mechanism called Mosaic, which is used to transfer funds by attaching information to them.
Zaif does not support deposits of XEM and XYM with this information, so please do not deposit XEM or XYM that has been granted Mosaic.
COT
Only ”COT v2” is handled on Zaif.
”COT v1” is not available for transactions.
Also, COT in polygon network cannot be deposited.
Please note that only ”ERC20” in Ethereum network can be deposited.
CMS:XEM(Mosaic)
1.Please give us your unique message in plain text at the time of deposit.
For MOSAIC deposits, multiple customers are supposed to send money to the same address, and we identify the customer's account by the unique message at the time of transfer.
Please be sure to include a unique message when you make a deposit.
Messages should be sent in plain text and unencrypted.
※Do not check Hex or Encrypt.
※Do not enter spaces or line breaks.
※Note that deposits may not be reflected if the above format is not followed.
2.Be careful not to grant and deposit the wrong Mosaic.
Zaif only handles "CMS:XEM(Mosaic)".
Please be careful not to deposit by giving the wrong Mosaic, such as nem:XEM.
MONA
Please be careful not to send money to the old address.
※Deposit addresses have been changed for BTC, BCH, MONA.

Since the old deposit address is no longer in use, the transfer of crypto assets to the old address will not be reflected to your account.
When depositing crypto assets into Zaif, please make sure that your deposit address is up-to-date.
